AVANTIS Lever Operated Twin Spindle Latch & Deadbolt – 2 Hook

The AVANTIS Lever Operated Twin Spindle Latch & Deadbolt with 2 Hooks features a 35mm backset, 92mm and 62mm centres, a 220mm case height, a 53mm case width, twin spindle operation and a latch & deadbolt centre case.

Avantis door locks feature some of the largest hooks and bolts on the market at 25mm, designed to provide excellent security and compression.

Identification
Can be identified by the ribbed deadbolt and extra large 25mm hooks.

Gearbox
The latch & deadbolt gearbox has a twin spindle, a case height of 220mm and a case width of 53mm.

Additional Locking Points
In addition to the locking points within the gearbox, the full length strip has 2 hook locking points.

Faceplate
The 16mm wide faceplate is ideal for use on UPVC and composite applications and is 2.2m long.

Locking Point Distances
Locking Point Distance A = 650mm
Locking Point Distance B = 650mm

Croppable
This full length unit is croppable, allowing the strip height to be reduced to suit the door it is being installed into.

Handing
The latch can be reversed by removing the screw in the latch, taking the latch out, turning it to the opposite hand and refitting the screw.

Sprung/Unsprung
The gearbox is unsprung and must be installed with sprung handles and/or a compatible spring cassette to ensure correct operation and reliable lever return.

Operation
Locking Method A. Lift the lever to engage the locking mechanisms, then use one full turn of the cylinder to lock. To unlock, use one full turn of the key, then push down on the lever.
